(medicine) A tiny drop of matter consisting of water, mucus, and bacterial products, released through the nasal passages or expectorated. (meteorology) A water droplet in the atmosphere; there is no defined size limit separating droplets from drops of water, but sometimes a maximum diameter of 0.2 millimeter is the limit for droplets.
