The Duchess of Berwick (speaking of her daughter Lady Agatha) 'Dear girl, she is so fond of photographs of Switzerland, such pure taste, I think.
As with most of Wilde's work there are some classic characters - the outspoken Duchess of Berwick (Fenella Fielding of Carry On fame) and Mrs Erlynne's intended Lord Augustus (Christopher Biggins) are great fun.
The high point was Fenella Fielding as the delightfully-tactless Duchess of Berwick who lets slip that Lady Windermere's husband (Richard Hanswell) is spending inordinate amounts of time with the scandalous Mrs Erlynne (Liza Goddard), who has set London society tongues wagging.
