Duckworth, Ruth (b. Windmuller) (1919– ) ceramist; born in Hamburg, Germany. She came to the University of Chicago in 1964 to teach ceramics. Her work ranged from delicate porcelain forms, to large roughly textured pots, to massive stoneware murals.
