Dushanbe Textile Combine 

a major enterprise of the textile industry of the USSR, located in the city of Dushanbe, Tadzhik SSR. The enterprise produces cotton threads, un-bleached and finished cotton calico and satin fabrics, flannel, and cord velveteen. The finished fabrics are either bleached, colored, or printed. The combine consists of three spinning and weaving factories, a finishing factory, and a mechanical plant. The construction of the combine was completed in 1966. Production of the major types of output is mechanized, and all the weaving machine tools of the combine are automatic. Some of the finished fabrics are exported to other Union republics or abroad.
