Dzhumgaltau
(Dzhumgoltau), a mountain range in the northern Tien-Shan, in the Kirghiz SSR. It extends latitudinally; on the west it is separated from the Susamyrtau Range by the ravine of the Kekemeren River. The range extends over 100 km, reaching a height of 3,948 m, and is composed of tufa-based sandstones, limestones and micaceous shales, and granites. On the slopes are meadows with dwarf savin, meadow steppes with shrubbery, and areas of savin growth and spruce forests. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
