EC2

(Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud) Datacenter services from Amazon Web Services, an Amazon.com company for developers. Servers are available with Windows Server, OpenSolaris and various Linux operating systems, as well as databases and Web server applications. Using Amazon's programming interfaces (API), applications can increase or decrease processing capacity on demand (the "elastic" in the name).

Amazon also offers storage, queuing and content delivery services. Simple Storage Service (S3) is available for EC2 customers as well as others, and Simple Queue Service (SQS) provides message store and forwarding.
