ECTF

ECTF
(Enterprise Computer Telephony Forum, www.ectf.org) An industry association founded in 1996 that provides a clearinghouse for technical standards for voice and data integration in the computer telephony arena. It acts as an umbrella group that coordinates with many smaller organizations throughout the U.S. and Europe in order to promote interoperability between products. In 2003, ECTF became a specialized membership section of CompTIA.

The ECTF is a consortium of over 100 computer telephony organizations that develops and publishes specifications designed to ensure the interoperability of computer-telephony hardware and software.
