Data access has been enhanced with new eXtensible Markup Language (XML) capabilities, allowing users to more quickly import complex XML data, identify table-like structures in complex XML files, import multiple elements in a single field and import eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) GL Schema 2. Using the Vasont Universal Integrator extension, users can mix-and-match Microsoft Word content with extensible markup language (XML) content already stored in Vasont to create new documents and convert Word-authored documents to XML for use across an enterprise, while maintaining a link to the source document. XBRL is a free eXtensible Markup Language specification that uses accepted financial reporting standards and practices to translate financial reports across all software and technologies. |
