Location:12 miles south of Morgan on State Route 65, in the mountains northeast of Salt Lake City.
Facilities:Campsites, group camp, showers, modern restrooms (é), picnic areas, food concession, boat rentals, boat launch, boat slips, hiking trails, bike trails, bridle trails.
Activities:Camping (é), boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, horseback riding, wildlife observation.
Special Features:East Canyon and the surrounding area are rich in pioneer history. The Donner Party passed through in 1846; a year later Mormon pioneers, including Brigham Young, passed this way.

OTCBB:SPCI) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, The Intermountain Wakeboard Association (IWA), has entered an agreement with East Canyon State Park to host four of their wakeboard competition events during the summer 2005 season.
In a first for regional lakes, the IWA has come to an agreement with East Canyon State park to allow competition areas to be closed to the general boating public, allowing for better water conditions, and safer conditions, throughout the competition.
