Location: 12 miles south of Morgan on State Route 65, in the mountains northeast of Salt Lake City.
Facilities: Campsites, group camp, showers, modern restrooms (é), picnic areas, food concession, boat rentals, boat launch, boat slips, hiking trails, bike trails, bridle trails.
Activities: Camping (é), boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, horseback riding, wildlife observation.
Special Features: East Canyon and the surrounding area are rich in pioneer history. The Donner Party passed through in 1846; a year later Mormon pioneers, including Brigham Young, passed this way.
