MOKV has been isolated from shrews, rodents, cats, and a dog in Africa and from 7 cats with rabies-like disease in KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa (2). As the sub-title indicates, it is a regional study of the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, what the nineteenth century called the Eastern Frontier, centered on Port Elizabeth. This plant will be located at Coega, an industrial zone and harbor situated near Port Elisabeth, Eastern Cape Province, and will produce approximately 460,000 tons per year of primary aluminium. |
