Ekho
(Echo), a legal daily Bolshevik newspaper published in St. Petersburg from June 22 (July 5) to July 7 (20), 1906, in place of the newspaper Vpered. Fourteen issues were published, of which twelve were confiscated. V. I. Lenin was the actual editor of Ekho; contributors to the newspaper included A. V. Lunacharskii, M. S. Ol’minskii, and V. V. Vorovskii. The newspaper published more than 25 articles by Lenin. On July 10, 1906, Ekho was shut down by the police. REFERENCESLenin, V. I.
