Ecobiomorph
a certain type of adaptive structure, including related physiological features, characterizing a group of plants that usually are not related but that inhabit similar environments. The term was proposed by E. M. Lavrenko in 1965 to replace the term “life form,” or “biomorph.” It differs from the latter two in that it takes into account physiological as well as morphological features.
