Location: 20 miles south of Caliente in Rainbow Canyon on NV 317.
Special Features: This one-room schoolhouse was built in 1922 for children in remote railroad siding and outlaying ranches south of Caliente. It was last used in 1967 and has since been restored to its original appearance. It was approved as a state historic site in 2005 and is managed as a unit of Kershaw-Ryan State Park.
