Emmaus, city, United StatesEmmaus, borough (1990 pop. 11,157), Lehigh co., E Pa., a suburb adjoining Allentown; inc. 1859. It is chiefly residential, with some light manufacturing and printing and publishing. Emmaus was founded in 1740 by Moravians.
