Despite the hue and cry that followed his sackings in August of Cecilia Ibru (Oceanic Bank), Bartholomew Ebong (Union Bank), Sebastian Adigwe (Afribank), Erastus Akingbola (Intercontinental Bank) and Okey Nwosu (Finbank), Sanusi has gone on to sack three more bank CEOs--Francis Atuche (Bank PHB), Ike Oraekwotu (Equatorial Trust Bank) and Charles Ojo (Spring Bank).
Erastus Akingbola, former chief executive of Intercontinental, is the only one of the five bank chiefs not to have yet been formally charged by the EFCC.
