Ermolin Chronicle
a late 15th-century chronicle discovered by A. A. Shakhmatov. A description of the architectural work of V. D. Ermolin, who commissioned the chronicle to be compiled (hence its name), is included in the last section of the chronicle. Based on a collection of annals, it bears testimony to Ermolin’s independence of thought and critical attitude toward the power of the great princes. The Ermolin Chronicle appears in the 23rd volume of the Complete Collection of Russian Chronicles. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
