Fribourg, Ernest Édouard 

Dates of birth and death unknown. Figure in the French working-class movement in the 1860’s.

Fribourg joined the First International in 1864 and was a member of the Federal Council of the Parisian sections; he sided with the right-wing Proudhonists. With A. L. Tolain, he attacked the First International’s General Council, which was led by K. Marx. He was a delegate to the International’s London conference in 1865 and to Geneva congress in 1866. Fribourg left the workingclass movement in 1868.
