Estero Bay Preserve State Park Location: Near Estero, between Fort Myers and Naples. Go west off I-75 onto Corkscrew Road, then right onto US 41 and left on Broadway West. Public access point is on the north side of the road next to the Florida Power & Light substation. Facilities: Trails. Activities: Boating/canoeing/kayaking (must launch from Koreshan State Historic Site nearby), fishing, hiking, bicycling, wildlife viewing. Special Features: The first acquatic preserve established in Florida and one of the state's most productive estuaries, the preserve protects the water, inlets, and islands along 10 miles of Estero Bay.
