EuroDOCSIS
The European DOCSIS cable modem standards. In Europe, PAL TV uses 8 MHz TV channels, enabling greater speeds than the 6 MHz channels used for NTSC in the U.S. and Canada. European research, standards development and certification for EuroDOCSIS is provided by EuroCableLabs (ECL), and the ITU and ETSI have adopted some of the ECL standards.
