Everett's interpolation formula [¦ev·rəts ‚in·tər·pə′lā·shən ‚fȯr·myə·lə] (mathematics) A formula for estimating the value of a function at an intermediate value of the independent variable, when its value is known at a series of equally spaced points (such as those that appear in a table), in terms of the central differences of the function of even order only and coefficients which are polynomial functions of the independent variable.
