Removal by human apurinic/apyrimidinic endonuclease 1 (Ape 1) and Escherichia coli exonuclease III of 3¶-phosphoglycolates from DNA treated with neocarzinostatin, calicheamicin and g-radiation.
Materials and Methods Reagents Recombinant, untagged human Ape1, Escherichia coli exonuclease III (ExoIII), and E.
The presence of Exonuclease III reduces the final overall yield of amplified material at endpoint and so is not suitable for analysis on gels, however it is the preferred system for generating strong fluorescence signal kinetics in the RPA system.
