The company said that the technology behind the mantra appliance provides comprehensive enterprise database activity monitoring, including continuous monitoring and audit access to critical data, analysis detection and protection against any non-compliance or data theft, and ready to use data compliance reports for SOX, PCI, HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA and other compliance regulations.
“OMB reviews all agency and IG FISMA reports annually,” Kundra wrote in a June 23 response to Wilshusen.
In preparing for this testimony, GAO analyzed agency, IG, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and GAO reports on information security and reviewed OMB FISMA reporting instructions, information technology security guidance, and information on reported security incidents.
