Fabre d'Églantine, Philippe François Nazaire (fēlēp` fräNswä` näzĕr` fä`brə dāgläNtēn`), 1755–94, French dramatist and revolutionist. His chief work, Le Philinte de Molière (1790), was a sequel to Molière's Misanthrope. A member of the Convention, he was selected to devise the names for the months and days of the French Revolutionary calendar. He was guillotined during the Terror. How to thank TFD for its existence?
