Facebook Messages

A unified messaging feature added to Facebook in 2010. It integrates e-mail, instant messaging, text messaging and chat in one "social inbox" that provides a conversation thread for the same person no matter which messaging method was used at any given time. By default, only friends and their friends come into the inbox. In addition, Facebook members can have a FacebookUserName@facebook.com address. See Facebook.
