Fanning Springs State Park Location: On US Highway 19/98 in the town of Fanning Springs. Facilities: Cabins (each accommodates up to 6 people; one @di), canoe and kayak rental, picnic tables and pavilions, nature trails. Activities: Fishing (designated areas), boating, canoeing, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, wildlife viewing. Special Features: Located on the historic Suwannee River, Fanning Spring is a first magnitude spring, producing approximately 65 million gallons of water daily. Red-shouldered hawks, pileated woodpeckers, barred owls, and white-tailed deer are among the animals seen at the park.
