Activities: Camping, swimming, lake fishing, boating, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, wildlife viewing (park has several albino deer).
Special Features: Located on the southeast shore of Mille Lacs Lake, the park was named in honor of a French Jesuit priest who visited the area with a French expedition in 1680. Throughout his trip, he kept a journal describing the untamed wilderness he encountered.
