Location: In Straits State Park near Saint Ignace, Michigan, just west of I-75 off US 2. Facilities: Current attractions include the memorial, an outdoor 15-station interpretive trail, and a panoramic view of the Mackinac Bridge. Activities: Modern camping (in Straits State Park). Special Features: The memorial pays tribute to the life and work of Father Jacques Marquette, French priest and explorer. He established Michigan's earliest European settlements at Sault Ste.
