Fava, Atos 

Born Nov. 30, 1925, in the city of Alberti. Figure in the Argentinian working-class movement. Metalworker. Member of the Communist Party of Argentina (CPA) since 1945.

Fava was a candidate member of the Central Committee of the CPA from 1963 to 1965. In 1965 he became a member of the Central Committee and the Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the CPA. At the same time, until 1968, he served as general secretary of the city committee of the Communist Party in Buenos Aires. In 1968, in addition to his position on the Executive Committee, he became a member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the CPA. Fava has been arrested several times for his revolutionary activities.
