The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a solemnity (meaning a festival of the greatest importance) in the Roman Catholic Church celebrated on the Friday after Corpus Christi. It is devoted to the symbol of Jesus' love for all humanity and is a significant holiday in Colombia.

Though the feast of Mary's Immaculate Heart has been celebrated at various times over the years, after the Second Vatican Council it was moved to the Saturday following the second Sunday after Pentecost, one day after the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
It began on the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, June 19, and is to conclude on that feast day in June 2010.
