Fejér, Lipót
Born Feb. 9, 1880, in Pecs; died Oct. 15, 1959, in Budapest. Hungarian mathematician. Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (1930; corresponding member, 1908). Fejér graduated from the University of Budapest in 1901 and was a professor at the university from 1911 to 1959. His principal works concern such subjects in function theory as the convergence and summability of trigonometric series and the theory of interpolation. WORKSGesammelte Arbeiten, vols. 1–2.
