Fertilizer Mixer and Dumper
a machine that simultaneously mixes organic and mineral fertilizers and dumps the mixture into a transport vehicle or in a storage pile. The basic working elements of the fertilizer mixer and dumper used in the USSR are milling cylinders that pulverize and mix a strip of fertilizer 1.5 m wide and then drop the mixture onto a conveyor. The conveyor can lift the mixture as high as 2.8 m to dump it into a vehicle or a storage pile. The cylinders and conveyor are driven by a power takeoff shaft of the tractor engine. The conveyor is raised and lowered by a winch, whereas the cylinders and the bulldozer blade are operated by hydraulic cylinders. The machine is mounted on a 3-ton tractor and driven by a tractor operator. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
