World Invocation Day (Festival of Goodwill) Spring, during the full moon in Sagittarius World Invocation Day, also known as the Festival of Goodwill, is a holiday observed by the Arcane School and the churches and organizations descended from it. The Arcane School was established by Alice A. Bailey in 1923 as a training school for adult men and women in meditation techniques and the development of spiritual potential. The focus of this observance is a prayer written by Bailey, known as the Great Invocation, which is recited by people at meetings around the world.
