Finelli, Giuliano (j
lyä`nō fēnĕl`lē), 1605–57, Italian sculptor. Working as assistant to Bernini, Finelli rejected the baroque aesthetic and adopted a mannered style of expression influenced by Cortona. Finelli spent his last years in Naples, where he made bronze sculptures of saints Peter and Paul for the cathedral.Want to thank TFD for its existence?
