Size: 1,424,524 acres.
Location: Central Utah. Accessible by US 50, 89, and 91; UT 24, 72, and 53; I-70 and I-15. Nearby cities/towns include Beaver, Fillmore, Kanosh, Loa, Monroe, Richfield, and Salina.
Facilities: 15 campgrounds, 9 group camps, dispersed camping, picnic sites, boating area, trails (1,040 miles), scenic drives.
Activities: Camping, hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, OHV riding.
Special Features: Fish Lake Basin, a 13,700-acre area with 2,500 acres of lakes and 670 acres of reservoir; Tushar Mountains, with peaks exceeding 12,000 feet. Three concession-operated resorts are located on forest property: Bowery Haven Resort, Fishlake Lodge, and Lakeside Resort; Canyon of Gold driving tour, with stops of historical interest along the way.
