Windows keyA shortcut key on PC keyboards that is used by itself to launch the Windows Start menu and in combination with other keys to launch applications. There are usually two Windows keys (Winkeys) on desktop keyboards, each flanking the spacebar, although laptop computers may have only the left one or none at all.
