Fluer

a folk wind instrument; a type of wooden, end-blown flute with a beaked mouthpiece at one end and an opening at the other. The fluer is found in Moldavia and the Balkan countries. It has a diatonic scale and a range of a seventh; overblowing increases the range to three octaves.
