ALLERGY ALERT: Now that school's about to start, some parents may want to take extra precautions with kids who have food allergies.
For example, Sicherer, Forman, and Noone (2000) conducted a research study to determine the ability of families with children with food allergies and pediatricians to properly administer self-injectable epinephrine.
