Forest Excavation Implements

The working member of a forest excavation implement is a blade or scraper that cuts the soil at a depth of 22-30 cm (for uprooting seedlings) or 30-40 cm (for uprooting saplings). The plow is equipped with a blade and scrapers with a width of 59 cm (for saplings) or 97 cm (for seedlings). The width of the excavation scraper is 1.2 m. The productivity of the plow is 0.26 hectares per hour; of the scraper, up to 0.4 hectares per hour. Forest excavation implements are used with the DT-75 and T-74 tractors and are operated by the driver.
