Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park

Location: 6 miles south of Wykoff on Fillmore County 118.
Facilities: 73 drive-in campsites (23 with electrical hookups), showers (é), flush toilets (é), horsemen's campground (including a specific day use area for day riders), group camp, picnic area (é), picnic shelters (é), hiking trail (17 miles), horse trails (15 miles), ski trails (11 miles), snowmobile trails (6 miles), warming house, historic site, interpretive exhibits, visitor center (é), gift shop.
Activities: Camping, stream fishing, hiking, horseback riding, cave tours, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, interpretive programs (seasonal).
Special Features: Park naturalists provide tours of Mystery Cave, where the temperature stays at a constant 48 degrees Fahrenheit, throughout the summer and on weekends in the spring and fall. Historic Forestville is a restored 1800s village operated by the Minnesota Historical Society.
