Forlì
a city in northern Italy, in the region of Emilia-Romagna; capital of the province of Forlì. Located along the ancient Emilian Way (Via Aemilia). Population, 107,700 (1973). Industry is represented by machine building, food processing (canned foods, wine, and sugar), woodworking, and the manufacture of chemical products (including artificial and nylon fibers), furniture, footwear, paper, garments, and majolica.
