Special Features: Situated on 100-foot-high granite cliffs, park is a former coastal defense battery and training camp. Known for its spectacular view of Newport Harbor and the east passage of Narragansett Bay, park is a popular site for viewing tall ship events and America's Cup races. Exceptional scuba diving off the rocks of Fort Wetherill attracts divers from all over New England.
