    0.01 sec.
Frame Viewfinder

an optical device for determining picture boundaries in still or motion-picture photography. The device consists of two frames of different sizes spaced a certain distance apart. The boundaries of the object being photographed are determined by aligning the contours of the frames in the observer’s field of view; the common contour of the frames is the boundary of the picture area.
