Mariateresa Magisano was a sweet and pure-voiced Micaela, and the lively interaction between Karen Ydenberg and Majorie Poirier lent a colorful frisson to the characters of Frasquita and Mercedes.
Other operatic roles are Susan in "The Marriage of Figaro," Miss Silverpeal in "The Impresario," Monica in "The Medium," Nedda in "Pagliacci" and Frasquita in "Carmen.
The arrival of the gypsy sisters Frasquita and Merceda was also very audible.
