French Honeysuckle
(Hedysarum coronarium), also sulla, a perennial herbaceous plant of the family Leguminosae. The stems reach 1 m in height. The leaves are odd-pinnate; the flowers are reddish purple and gathered in dense racemes. The fruit is a pod with two to four generally bristly segments.
