Front Royal

Front Royal, city (1990 pop. 11,880), seat of Warren co., N Va., at the junction of South and North forks of Shenandoah River, inc. 1788. Furniture, lumber and building materials, automotive paints, and modular homes are among the local manufactures; limestone is quarried in the area. Tourism is also important; Front Royal is at the north end of Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park Shenandoah National Park, 198,081 acres (80,195 hectares), N Va., extending 80 mi (129 km) along the crest of the Blue Ridge. Authorized in 1926, it was fully established as a national park in 1935.

The $45 million Front Royal Credit Union is headquartered in Front Royal, Va.
She is survived by two sons, Gaylon Campbell of Ashland, ME and Joe Smith of Oxford; five daughters, Donna Matheson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Rhonda Langille of Ashland, ME, Debra Martin of Worcester formerly of Oxford, Kathy Doyle of Front Royal, VA, and Gail McCassey of Oxford; one brother; five sisters; eleven grandchildren Carsa, Jason, Amanda, Benjamin, Alisa, Daniel, Kristin, Michael, Keith, Joshua, and Stacey; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Since 1988, they have served clients from offices in the DC Metro (HQ), Baltimore, Philadelphia and Richmond/Tidewater Areas as well as from their newly completed 80,000 square foot Operations Center in Front Royal, VA.
