An earlier project on the Douro's northern riverfront, the Cafe do Cais, was conceived as a simple yet precisely detailed steel and glass pavilion, at once lightweight and autonomous evoking the functional language of street kiosks and furniture. Intensive Reading/Listening exercises promoted a more critical understanding of the text/video and its functional language. The product, based on Simantix functional language technology, encompasses its own system level environment with links to HDL commercial simulators. |
