(chemistry)
The equivalent weight of an element or compound expressed in grams on a scale in which carbon-12 has an equivalent weight of 3 grams in those compounds in which its formal valence is 4.

The GEQ is an 18-item self report questionnaire comprised of four subscales designed to measure social and task cohesion on sport teams from both individual and group perspectives (Carron, Widmeyer, & Brawley, 1985).
The GEQ permits independent assessment of different ethnocultural orientations and was used to assess each participant's level of acculturation to American culture.
