GQL
(1) (Google Query Language) See Google App Engine.

(2) (Graphical Query Language) The former name of a family of query and reporting tools used to access databases on client/server systems from Hummingbird Ltd., Toronto, Ontario (www.hummingbird.com). The product line was rebranded to BI-Query, taking its place with other flagship software: BI Analyze, BI Server and BI Web. GQL was originally from Andyne Computing, which was acquired in 1998.
