Grad 

(Also grade), a unit of measurement of a plane angle, proposed when the metric system of measures was introduced at the end of the 18th century. The abbreviated symbol is lg. One grad equals 1/100 of a right angle. The fractional units of a grad are the metric minute (I’ or Ic), which equals 1/100 of a grad, and the metric second (1” or lcc), which equals 1/100 of a metric minute. The relationships between a grad and other units of a plane angle are lg = 0.01570796 radian and lg = 0.900° (angular degrees), or I” = 1.111g-The expression of angles in grads has not been widely accepted.
