Urbanovich, Galina Napoleonovna
Born Sept. 5, 1917, in Baku. Soviet gymnast. Honored Master of Sport (1946), Honored Coach of the USSR (1963), international-class judge (1966). Urbanovich was an Olympic champion in a team championship (1952), seven-time all-around champion of the USSR (1943–48, 1950), and on several occasions champion of the USSR in individual competitions in combined events (more than 20 times between 1939 and 1952).
