Urbanovich, Galina Napoleonovna 

Born Sept. 5, 1917, in Baku. Soviet gymnast. Honored Master of Sport (1946), Honored Coach of the USSR (1963), international-class judge (1966).

Urbanovich was an Olympic champion in a team championship (1952), seven-time all-around champion of the USSR (1943–48, 1950), and on several occasions champion of the USSR in individual competitions in combined events (more than 20 times between 1939 and 1952).

Urbanovich has been awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
